This mini-retrospective will present the figurative paintings of a longstanding member of Greensboro’s artistic community. Linda Tavernise explores the depths of color and form around her. Her paintings on both canvas and paper often depict the wonders of nature and the animal world. They evoke through composition, brightly colored painterly surfaces and subject tacit moods and feelings. Linda Tavernise received her MFA from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro.
